professional
I'm an all-around pretty competent developer. I have experience with a myriad of different technologies but focus mainly on those that are network-related because it tends to be more rewarding in less time. I specialize in PHP, SQL, XHTML, XML, Javascript and CSS, since it's primarily what I've been paid to do over the last two years. I have a long history of graphic production and use Linux for every task in and out of my daily schedule. I've also got a lot of customer service and communication experience and know how to interact with normal, non-geek people. But that's not all! Check out my CV/resume for a more detailed list of stuff I usually get paid for.
personal
I typically go by Justin in the real and Surtsey on the network. I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah, trying to make a living as a (rather peculiar) artist. I like animals but my list of pets is quite short, only containing - as far as I know - a mean-spirited but fuzzy cat named Garfield. He's an orange Tabby. I enjoy art, music, pizza, water, sugar and rain. Cursory list, huh?
tools
I'm a huge supporter of open source software, for both technological and moral reasons, and use it extensively. But I can't claim to use only it 100% of the time. Here's a short list of some of my more important tools:
contact
I removed the other methods of communicating with me from this section because I'm decidedly paranoid about random people on the Internet having the ability to call me or order me a pizza. However, if you really need to speak to me on the phone or in person and don't already have a means of doing so, send me an email and we'll talk it over. If you're a fan of encryption, you're welcome to use my public key.
